One killed and another injured as bus hits motorcycle

Tirumala, Mar 19 (UNI) One person was killed and another injuried when the motorcycle on which they were travelling dashed against a State Transport Corporation bus at Tirumala Ghat road today.

Police sources said, the mishap occured when two, hailing from Kalapakkam in Triuvalluvar district of Tamil Nadu, were proceeding to Tirumala for darshan on their motorcycle and were overtaking the bus.

One of the victims fell under the wheel of the bus and and other fell on the road.

The deceased succumbed on the way to hospital. The injured was admitted to Government Ruia hospital.
