Man stabs his son in Amreli Dist

Rajkot, Mar 19 (UNI) A man in an inebriated condition has allegedly stabbed his son at Nagesri village in Jafrabad taluka of Amreli district.

The accused Dadubhai, enraged over his son Dilawar's remarks not to use abusive language in the house, yesterday allegedly assaulted his son with knife and injured him in the chest and hand, police said today.

Grievously injured Dilawar was rushed to Mahuva Hospital, where his condition is stated to be ''critical''.

An offence has been registered under sections 307, 504 and 174 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), police added.
