Escape bid by prisoners foiled
Warangal, Andhra Pradesh Mar 19 (UNI) The security personnel of the Central Prison today foiled an attempt by five prisoners, including an ISI agent, to escape from the prison here.
Police said the undertrials, who were shifted from Hyderabad Central jail to Warangal prison recently, managed to escape from the high-security barracks.
However, the prison sentry, who was on duty, noticed that they were not present in the barrack. He, immediately, set off the alarm bells.
The prison security opened two rounds of fire in the air and managed to nab the prisoners.
Police have registered a case and investigation was going on.
