Chautala named, six INLD members suspended

Chandigarh, Mar 19 (UNI) Haryana assembly Speaker today 'named' INLD supremo Om Prakash Chautala and suspended six members of his party when they obstructed proceedings of the House over the issue of reported indictment of their leader by the Bhalla Commission for creation of controversial Haryana State Industrial Security Force (HSISF) .

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda told the house that the report of the Commssion would be tabled, along with the Action Taken Report (ATR), in the assembly tomorrow.

The issue came up in the House today when Mr Karan Singh Dalal (Cong) spoke of a newspaper report on the indictment of Mr Chautala by the Bhalla Commission for creation of controversial Haryana State Industrial Security Force which was later disbanded.

The INLD members took strong exception to Mr Dalal's criticism of Mr Chautala on the issue, saying he could not do so merely on the basis of a newspaper report.

Mr Chautala also objected to it and told Speaker Raghubir Singh Kadian that he was setting wrong precedent by allowing the Congress member to speak on the issue.

The Speaker then 'named' Mr Chautala and he was immediately sent out of the House.

Following this, the INLD members trooped into the well of the House and starting shouting slogans against the government.

Despite repeated pleas when they did not resume their seats, the Speaker adjourned the House for ten minutes.
