CBI raids suspended CISF Commandant's houses
Kochi, Mar 19 (UNI) The CBI today raided the houses of suspended CISF Commandant K C Suresh Kumar here and in Thiruvananthapuram and seized some ''incriminating documents.'' CBI sources here said the raids were conducted this morning on the request of the central investigating agency's Delhi unit, which had arrested Kumar earlier this month in connection with the murder of an advocate, Vasantha, in Port Blair.
Kumar was serving as the CISF Commandant, in charge of security operations, at Nedumbassery International Airport near here at the time of arrest.
He was summoned to Port Blair for interrogation and arrested there. He was posted in Port Blair with the Intelligence Bureau prior to his posting at Nedumbassery.
