BJP Mahila Morcha chiefs appointed for six states

New Delhi, Mar 19 (UNI) BJP Mahila Morcha President Kiran Maheshwari today appointed Morcha heads in six states, including Ms Bharati Shetty for Karnataka where the party is in power.

A party release said Ms Mriduchanda Deb and Ms Radhamma Thankachi had been nominated for heading the Mahila Morchas of Meghalaya and Kerala respectively.

Ms Sujata Rao will be the new chief of Tamil Nadu while Ms Akela Tante and Ms Mukta Bhaskar Naik will head Arunachal Pradesh and Goa state women's wings.

In a separate development, BJP Kisan Morcha President Vinod Pande announced the whole list of office-bearers and members of the National Executive.

Among the appointments were Mr Rajshekhar Sindhur, an MLA from Karnataka who has been made one of the four Secretaries and Mr Sunil Kumar Singh of Jharkhand as the General Secretary.
