At least 25 killed, 5 injured in Russia's mine blast

Moscow, Mar 19 (UNI) At least 25 people were killed and five injured in Ulyanovskya mine blast in the Kemerovo region,in the West Siberia, today.

''Twenty-five people were killed,'' Russian Emergency Situations Ministry said in a statement, giving the latest casualty figures in the methane gas explosion.

Many miners are still trapped in the mine. There were 186 miners inside the mine at the time of blast, the ministry said adding that the number of rescued people is being specified.
