World Cup betting racket

Ratlam, MP, Mar 18 (UNI) Bets amounting to Rs three lakh, on the ICC World Cup India versus Bangladesh encounter, have been unearthed during a police raid at a flat in Tatanagar locality of this district headquarters and one person arrested.

''The raid took place at midnight last night. The accused was identified as Lokesh Munat. A colour TV, five cellphones, a calculator and Rs 4,500 were seized,'' said Manik Chowk Station House Officer S K S Tomar.
