Villagers block traffic

Puducherry, Mar 18 (UNI) Traffic to Villuppuram was affected for some time as the villagers of Arumparthapurampet staged a road blockade to press their demands.

To protest the non-availability of drinking water in their village, the villagers and women' carrying the empty pots and blocked the road.

Following this, the authorities rushed to the spot and assured to do the needful. Later, the agitation was called off.
