MSF distributes free books to poor students

Imphal, Mar 18 (UNI) The Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) has undertaken a major programme to distribute books to the poor students of the state under a campaign known as ''Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamshi'' (Let us study together).

So far the MSF has distributed text books to about 3000 students in nook and corner of the state, specially in the rural areas.

The MSF said that the campaign was still continuing and its local units were distributing books in their areas. It said the local clubs and organizations were also involved in the campaign. Two such functions were held in different parts of the state yesterday and books distributed to poor students.
