Mizoram to set up SPCA in all districts

Aizawl, Mar 18 (UNI) Mizoram government will set up Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in all the districts following a recent directive from the Centre.

Official sources here today said the animal husbandary and vetanary director had asked the District Deputy Commissioners to take steps in this regard.

Sources said the director had sent a letter to Chief Secretary Haukhum Hauzel to know how far the government's order had been complied with.
