Jyotiraditya demands more compensation

Guna, MP, Mar 18 (UNI) Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia has said that the Madhya Pradesh government ought to compensate hail-affected farmers at the rate of Rs 10,000 per hectare.

''Crops were destroyed in most parts of Morena district and Gwalior division. Compensation as per current provisions will not prove adequate. A re-survey of affected areas should be undertaken.,'' the local MP said in a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, as per party sources.
