Documentary on Justice Krishna Iyer released

Kochi, Mar 18 (UNI) A documentary on former Supreme Court Justice V R Krishna Iyer was released at a special function by Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan here.

The documentary titled 'Justice V R Krishna Iyer -- The Living Legend', comprehensively depicts Mr Iyer's role as a lawyer, MLA, Minister, Law Commision member, High Court Judge, Supreme Court judge and Human Rights activist.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Achuthanandan hailed Mr Iyer's relentless effort to fight injustice with an apolitical mindset.

He said even as a nanogenarian, Mr Iyer's showed boundless energy to uphold the rights of the common man.

The feature directed by Binuraj Kalapeetom was produced under the banner of Lakshmi Creations.
