BJP leader slain in Chhattisgarh

Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Mar 18 (UNI) A BJP leader was killed by unidentified persons in Dantewada district's Karampal village, the police said quoting preliminary reports.

State Representative Chhannuram Sodi's throat was slit while he went to a market on his jeep. Naxals were suspected to be behind the crime.

Senior police officers reached the spot.
