Pune, Mar 17 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Dry weather will prevail over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Hot day conditions prevailed in parts of coastal Gujrat and Konkan.

Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. They were above normal in parts of Assam, Meghalaya and in remaining parts of Gujrat.

They were appreciably to markedly below normal in West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, in parts of Orissa, east Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

The temperatures were below normal in parts of west Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Marathwada, Vidarbha, in remaining parts of Assam, Meghalaya and Orissa. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly below normal in Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, in parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, west Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana.

The temperatures were below normal in remaining parts of Assam, Meghalaya and east Uttar Pradesh.

They were appreciably above normal in some parts of west Rajasthan, Saurashtra and Kutch.

They were above normal in parts of Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, while in rest of the country the temperatures were normal.

Rain or thundershowers had occurred at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
