MP Assembly adjourned till Mar 21

Bhopal, Mar 17 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Assembly was today adjourned till March 21 with the house observing holidays on March 19 and 20 due to Gudi Padwa and Cheti Chand festivals, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani said.

To ensure passage of the budget for 2007-08 after department-wise discussion, the sittings were being held till 2000 hours daily without lunch break, while the house also met on Saturday, normally a holiday.

The budget session, which began on February 19, is scheduled to conclude on April 5.
