Modi launches website on soldiers welfare

Gandhinagar, Mar 17 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today launched a website on the welfare of soldiers, among 43 others, for the state Home department.

The website www.sainikwelfare.gujarat.gov.in lists out details of the soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation, injured and former soldiers in addition to their families.

The website will also have sample forms and checklists for acquiring assistance. Also, it will give guidance about recruitment and training to those interested in Army, Navy or Air Force.

UNI
