Martyrs' families honoured

Raipur, Mar 17 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Governor E S L Narasimhan today honoured the families of 13 soldiers, who made the supreme sacrifice in conflicts of the pre-Kargil period, and presented Rs 1 lakh each.

At the state's maiden ex-servicemen's rally, Mr Narasimhan lauded the soldiers' discipline, courage and dedication.

Stressing on enhancing Chhattisgarh's representation in the Army, he said, ''the youth should be encouraged and provided complete information in this regard.'' UNI
