Four students arrested for damaging MTC bus

Chennai, Mar 17 (UNI) City police has arrested four students of Nandanam Government Arts College for allegedly damaging the wind screen of a Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) bus and manhandling the bus driver at Guindy here yesterday.

Police said the Arts College students, who were celebrating bus day, entered into a wordy duel with a group of students, belonging to another private college, who interfered the former's bus day celebrations.

As the quarrel aggravated, the students pelted stones at the bus and damaged it.

On information, police rushed to the spot and arrested four students.
