Bush rules out talks with new Palestinians government

Washington, Mar 17 (UNI) US President George W Bush has made it clear that he will not negotiate with the new Palestinian government in view of its refusal to accept international conditions, including recognition of Israel's right to exist.

White House Spokesman Tony Snow gave this information to newsmen yesterday after President Bush's telephone-talk with Saudi King Abdullah and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.

The President exchanged view with King Abdullah and President Mubarak on the situation in Palestinian where rival groups -- Hamas and Fatah -- had agreed on a unity government at the talks sponsored by Saudi Arabia earlier this month.

The new Palestinian government is expected to seek of vote of confidence today.

Bush is insisting on the acceptance of conditions set by the ''Quartet for West Asia peace'', comprising the US, the United Nations, Russia, and the European Union. These include recognition of Israel, renouncing violence, and abiding by past peace accords.

Spokesman Snow said the US administration would not deal directly, in terms of negotiations, with a government that doesn't adopt the quartet conditions.
