HAL Trainer flight creates panic in state

Krishnagiri (Tamil Nadu), Mar 16: A trainer flight of the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) Bangalore had created panic among the villagers residing in and around Serkadu-Royakottai forest areas of Krishnagiri district yesterday, as two empty petrol tanks of the flight had fallen when the flight was flying around that area.

Police said no one was injured.

Based on the information a police team rushed to the spot and collected parts of the aircraft and accordingly informed the matter to the HAL authorities, police added.
