BJP demands Minister's apology
Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 16 (UNI) Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) Kerala General Secretary A N Radhakrishnan today demanded State Electricity Minister A K Balan to tender an apology on his alleged controversial remarks on Hindu Gods in the Assembly.
Talking to reporters here, he said the incident was quite ''unfortunate'' and warned that if the Minister did not come up with an apology, the BJP would resort to direct agitations, including boycotting the Minister.
Stating such remarks was a challenge to the majority community, he said Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan should take necessary action to control his Cabinet colleague.
