Rich tributes pays to Annamacharya

Tirupati, Mar 15 (UNI) On the eve of the renowned Saint-Lyricist Tallapaka Annamacharya's 504th death anniversary celebrations to be held here from tomorrow to March 22, thousands of devotees and lovers of the saint poetry paid tributes to the statue of Annamayya here today.

The celebrations have been organised under the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam's (TTD) owned Annamacharya project.

The anniversary will be inaugurated here tomorrow by senior Telugu Film Actor and Director K Viswanath.

During the celebrations, several cultural programmes, Harikathas and Chekka Bhajans will be conducted here.
