Greubel Forsey eyes India with Rs 1.62 cr watch
New Delhi, Mar 15: Time is precious and with a watch that costs you more than a crore of rupees, you are sure to feel on top of the world.
Swiss luxury watch maker Greubel Forsey today unveiled its Timeless Piece 'Double Tourbillion 30 degrees' for the first time in India which will be available to select customers at retail price of Rs 1.62-1.85 crore.
Greubel Forsey brand, named after its inventors Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey, produces only 25 watches a year for its special customers worldwide, delivering only one or two watches every month.
The timepiece will be distributed by The Regent Watch and Jewellery firm in India, specialists in high end Swiss watches and a subsidiary of Finex Distribution Pvt Ltd.
The
distribution
process
will
be
done
with
a
prior
order
of
six
months
by
the
customer,
''because
it's
an
exclusive
watch
and
will
get
in
India
only
when
a
customer
gives
us
an
advance
order,
as
we
are
not
going
to
showcase
these
watches
in
India.
Only
one
watch
will
be
available
for
this
year,''
