SAD Candidate leading in Beas constituency

Amritsar, Mar 14: SAD candidate Manjinder Singh Kang was leading by a margin of 2200 votes over his nearest rival and sitting MLA Jasbir Singh Dimpa of the Congress in Beas assembly constituency of Punjab.

Polling in Beas Constituency was held on March 11. There are twelve candidates in the fray.

Election in Beas assembly constiteuncy was postponed from February 13 to March 11 following violence in which a Akali worker was killed.
