Nagaland: President to visit Kohima March 15

Kohima, Mar 14: President A P J Abdul Kalam will arrive here tomorrow to grace the second Convocation of Nagaland University, official sources today said.

The President would land at Assam Rifles helipad at around 1400 hrs and immediately drive to attend the convocation at Secretriat Plaza here.

Altogether 12,981 students would be awarded degree in various discipline in the convocation.

Dr Kalam would then interact with the students of the Government Higher Secondary School here at 1700 hrs.

He would also meet some of the public leaders, representatives various NGOs at Raj Bhawan in the evening.

After a night halt, Dr Kalam would leave for Shillong in Meghalaya the next morning.

This would be the President's second visit to the state after October 2002.
