Pirated CDs seized from a cable operator

Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 12 (UNI) Police today raided the cable operator Surichetti Vijay's residence at Eajendranagar in the town and seized 1127 blue-films, CDs and 742 pirated cinema CDs.

According to Sub Divisional Police Officer P H D Ramakrishna, Vijay was getting the CDs from Antony at Paris in Chennai.

Mr Ramakrishna said the accused would be produced before the court.

In another incident three college students were arrested at Lalacheruvu Centre and five motor cycles were recovered from them, stolen from various places in the town.

He said two more students were at large and police were yet to recover from them one motorcycle and two cell phones. All worth more than Rs two lakh, he added.
