Ibobi resigns from Khangabok seat

Imphal, Mar 13 (UNI) Manipur Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh has resigned from Khangabok Assembly constituency after being elected to the Ninth Manipur Legislative Assembly from both Thoubal and Khangabok.

The Chief Minister has announced his decision to party workers at his residence yesterday.

Meanwhile, Manipur Legislative Assembly Secretary T Joute issued a bulletin stating that the Speaker has accepted the resignation of O Ibobi Singh from 35 Khangabok Assembly constituency with effect from March 12, 2007.
