Govt should immediately implement KR Committee report: BJP

Visakhapatnam, Mar 13 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state President B Dattatreya today demanded that the state government should immediately implement Koneru Rangarao Committee report.

Addressing media here, he alleged that the Congress leaders grabbed 20,000 acres from the lands assigned to outer and inner ring roads and Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy failed to stop the land grabbings, taken place in the state.

The BJP constituted a committee led by Dr Malla Reddy and "in this regard we collected evidences of land grabers in the state", he added.

Mr Dattatreya, who was the former Railway Minister in NDA regime, said in the present Railway Budget there was no allocation of any projects, new trains and new railway lines in the state. The Congress MPs failed in this regard, he alleged.
