K'taka: Cauvery issue to dominate budget session

Bangalore, Mar 13: The budget session of Karnataka Legislature will begin with a two-day special session on Cauvery issue from tomorrow.

The session has been advanced by two days to March 14 to discuss the Cauvery water sharing issue in the House.

The budget for 2007-08 will be presented by Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister B S Yediyurappa.

Mr Yediyurappa will be presenting his second budget.

The issues of banning of arrack and holding of Council elections will be taken up during the budget session.

Opposition Congress is all set to focus the failure in the administration of the state by JD-S-BJP coalition government.
