APUWJ, EPF stage protest rally

Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 20 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) and Eluru Press Forum (EPF) today organised a protest rally here to condemn the attack on a press photographer and a reporter by certain anti-socials at Purushottampalli.

The APUWJ and EPF also warned the state government that they would call for an indefinite hunger strike, if the government failed to arrest the culprits who attacked the journalists.

Later, a delegation led by APUWJ District President K Manikya Rao, EPF President G Raghuram and General Secretary K Suresh Kumar submitted a memorandum to Eluru District Collector.
