Kolkata, Mar 12 (UNI) The Opposition Trinamool Congress today staged a token walk-out from the West Bengal Assembly in protest against the acquisition of farm land, death of tea garden workers and the alleged provocative comments of Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee at yesterday's Brigade Parade rally.

Raising a point of order, senior Trinamool Congress member Sobhandeb Chatterjee alleged that the way the Chief Minister had talked about the Opposition at the rally was tantamount to provocating and instigatiog a ''civil war''.

Criticising Mr Bhattacharjee for his alleged failure to find a solution to the plight of the tea garden workers and largescale acquisition of agriculture land, Mr Chatterjee said, '' In protest against the government policy, we are staging a walk out of the House. '' The members, however, took their seats and participated in the proceedings after a few minutes.
