MP Assy lauds INSAT-4B succcess

Bhopal, Mar 12 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Assembly today congratulated the scientists of of the Indian Space Research Organisation for placing India's fourth-generation communication satellite INSAT-4B in geosynchronous transfer orbit by an Ariane-5 launcher that blasted off from the European Spaceport of Kourou in French Guyana.

Speaker Ishwardas Rohani informed the House of the success. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Leader of the Opposition Jamuna Devi were among those who expressed happiness.

Mr Rohani conveyed best wishes, on behalf of the House, to state Tourism and Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia who emerged victorious in the bypoll to the prestigious Gwalior Lok Sabha seat.

The electoral success was mentioned by Mr Chouhan.
