Cotton gutted in fire

Bhavnagar, Mar 12 (UNI) Bales of cotton were burnt in a fire at a cotton ginning factory at Garidhar taluka here.

The fire engulfed the Vishwas ginning factory, owned by Akbharbhai Ibrahimbhai last evening, fire brigade sources said. Fire tenders from Garidhar and Bhavnagar rushed to the spot to douse the flames.

The fire was caused by a short circuit, sources said.
