College student ends life

Tirupati, Mar 12 (UNI) A first year post-graduate student of the Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visva Vidyalayam (SPMVV) allegedly committed suicide by hanging, in a hostel room today.

Police said Ms Umamahesware, hailing from Jamalamaddugu in Kadapha district, took the extreme step due to family problems.

The body was sent for post-mortem, police added.
