BJP told to clarify on Abu Salem ticket

Sagar, MP, Mar 12 (UNI) Loktantrik Samajwadi Party President Raghu Thakur today said the BJP must clarify its position over underworld don Abu Salem contesting assembly elections from Uttar Pradesh.

Mr Thakur told reporters here today that the BJP had entered into an alliance with the JD(U) and the Apna Dal in Uttar Pradesh. The Apna Dal wants to provide ticket to Salem.

''Under such circumstances, the BJP must clarify its position.'' he said, adding the BJP had become frustrated because of its declining public base.
