SRF forms $ 9 million Joint Venture in China

New Delhi, Mar 11: SRF Ltd will set up a 50:50 joint ventureproject in China to manufacture Anhydrous Hydrogen Fluoride at a costof nine million dollars.

The project will come up in partnership with a leading ChineseFluorspar producer envisaging a capital investment of three milliondollars.

In addition, the company will increase the capacity of itsChloromethanos plant from 82.5 tonnes per day to 102 tonnes per daythrough debottlenocking at a cost of Rs 17 crore, a company statementsaid.

SRF Ltd, engaged in manufacturing technical textiles,fluorochemicals, packaging films and pharma chemicals currentlyoperates from eight plant locations in India and abroad and hasattained market leadership position in many of the products itmanufactures.
