LJP Bihar unit dissolved

New Delhi, Mar 11 (UNI) The Central Committee of the Ram Vilas Paswan's Lok Jan Shakti Party, has dissolved its Bihar State unit and constituted a 14-member Steering Committee with party MLA Pashupati Kumar Paras as its convenor.

According to a party release issued here, a meeting of the party was held at the Central Office of the party here yesterday took the decision to dissolve the state unit. The meeting was presided over by LJP Vice President Ranjan Pratap Yadav.

Mr Rana Gangeshwar Prasad Singh has been appointed as the Bihar State Election Officer and will appoint District and Block Election Officers by March 31,the release said.

According to the release, election of the State President will be held on October 30. July 31 is the last date for membership campaign of the party. Notification for the final list of members will be published on August 20. The election of the primary units will be completed by September 10, of blocks by September 20 and of district by October 15.
