BJP favours Legislative Council System: Lakshman

Vijayawada, Mar 11 (UNI) Former BJP national president rpt national president Bangaru Lakshman today said his party always favoured the "Legislative Council System" in the states.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Lakshman, who is a Rajya Sabha member, said former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief N Chandrababu Naidu should express his opinion on the Legislative Council system.

"If Mr Naidu had no belief in the Council, his party should not participate in the ongoing LC elections," he said.
