Vidya Stokes named Observer for Uttarakhand CLP meet

New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Minister Vidya Stokes has been named an Observer for the Congress Legislature Party meeting to be held in Dehradun tomorrow, party sources said today.

A new CLP leader will be elected in tomorrow's meeting.

The CLP leader will also function as the Leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly, following the defeat of the Congress in the Assembly election and formation of a BJP Government led by former Union Minister Maj Gen (retd) B C Khanduri.
