One run over by inspecting train in Bihar

Hajipur, Mar 10 (UNI) A labourer was killed while four others were wounded when an inspecting train between Sheetalpur and Naya Gaon stations on Sonepur-Chhapra section under Sonepur division of East Central Railway(ECR) today.

Divisional railway manager Pramod Kumar said the accident occurred when a team of senior railway officers was on inspection trip by a special train to supervise conversion work of a narrow gauge into broad gauge on Chhpara-Sonepur section.

All the injured were rushed to a railway hospital in Sonepur.
