Badal calls on Vajpayee

New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal today paid a short courtesy call to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at his residence this evening.

The meeting between the two leaders lasted less than 10 minutes and Mr Badal left the venue without speaking to the media.

This is his first meeting with Mr Vajpayee after he was sworn as Chief Minister of Punjab.
