B'lore: Tibetan refugees Uprising Day on Mar 10
Bangalore, Mar 9: Tibetans living in exile in Karnataka willorganise a public ralliy here tomorrow to commemorate the 48th TibetanNational Uprising Day in protest against Chinese 'occupation' and tore-assert their right for complete independence.
Centrex Tibetan Youth Congress Vice President Lobsang Yeshi toldmediapersons today that the Tibetans would demonstrate in front of allChinese embassies worldwide to highlight the plight of Tibetans whowere waging a peaceful war against the Chinese aggression.
He alleged that 48 years since Chinese invasion, all attempts hadbeen made to decimate the life and culture of the Tibetans and over 12lakh Tibetans were killed by China.
Claiming that Tibetans security was linked with the India'snational interest, Mr Yeshi accused that China was fomenting anti-Indiacampaign worldwide and was also blocking India to become a permanentmember in the United Nation's security council.
He said Tibetans never recognised China as their country and wouldcontinue their peaceful struggle till they regained freedom.
