Congress terms BJP govt in Guj as ''liars''

Ahmedabad, Mar 9 (UNI) Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee President Bharatbhai Solanki today alleged that the State BJP government was a ''bunch of liars.'' ''Of Rs 312 crore allotted by the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre to the farmers in the past three years, the State BJP government has not even spent Rs 100 crore,'' Mr Solanki alleged.

''Gujarat government often levels baseless allegation against the UPA government for committing injustice to the State. Though every year the State government receives funds of crores for different projects from the Centre, it hardly acknowledges this fact,'' Mr Solanki said in a statement.

That apart, the State government has failed to utilise money for the poor under the village employement scheme. The Central government has spent crores of Rupees on city roads and bridges.

Yet, the State government has not taken any note of it, he lamented.
