Unity bags Rs 45.76 crore Mithi River contract from MCGM

Mumbai, Mar 8 (UNI) Unity Infraprojects Limited, one of India's largest civil contractors, has bagged a Rs 45.76 crore contract for 'Training of Mithi River (widening and deepening, RCC Retaining wall, service road)' from CST Road up to the airport culvert, from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).

The contract is in joint venture with M/s Shyam Narayan&Brothers (SNB). Unity Infraprojects Limited is the lead partner in the JV, with 70 per cent share, said a company release here today.

''The Mithi River project is a vital component in strengthening Mumbai's infrastructure, and we are glad to be a part of the movement,'' Unity Infraprojects Limited CMD Kishore Avarsekar said.

Unity Infraprojects company is very active in the real estates too. Recently, the company bagged projects in Goa, Pune and Nagpur for an IT park, hotel and commercial complexes respectively, the release added.
