Eight Australians feared dead in Malawi air crash
LILONGWE, Mar 8 (Reuters) A small aircraft carrying eight Australian engineers crashed today in central Malawi, and there were no initial reports of survivors, police said.
Police spokesman Willie Mwaluka said the small airplane crashed at the main airport of Lilongwe, the country's capital, and had been headed for Karonga, where Australian uranium miner Paladin Resources Ltd has a mining project.
