Bomb hoax delays Thiruvananthapuram-bound Nethravathi Express

Kozhikode, Mar 8: The Thiruvananthapuram-bound Nethravathi Express was delayed here today for security checkup which lasted for about half an hour, after an anonymous call was received that a bomb had been planted on the train.

However, after a detailed search in all the compartments by sniffer dogs and bomb squads, the call provided to be a hoax, police said.

Later the train, originating from Kurla near Mumbai, left for its distination at 1015 hrs, police added.
