Three US soldiers killed near Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Mar 7 (Reuters) Three US soldiers were killed and another was wounded by a roadside bomb near Baghdad today, the US military said.

The soldiers were conducting a patrol to clear roadside bombs from a frequently travelled route northwest of the capital when they were hit by an explosion, the US military said in a statement. It gave no further details.
