Russian cremated in Hindu tradition
Kannur, Mar 7 (UNI) A young Russian tourist, who was killed in an accident in Kasargode, has been cremated at Payyambalam near here, according to the Hindu tradition.
The 30-year-old Roman Slyusarenko was killed on March 2 when his motorcycle collided with a bus at Kumbala in Kasaragod district.
The body, kept at the Pariyaram Medical college, was cremated at Payyambalam yesterday.
South India's Russian Consulate General in Chennai Vladislav V Antonyuk lit the pyre.
