Panic prevails as BSP MLA's bodyguard opens fire
Hardoi, Mar 7 (UNI) Panic prevailed after a bodyguard of a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA opened fire over a dispute here today.
The incident occurred in Radhopur village under Mallawa police station area, where Gram Pradhan Vinod Singh thrashed a shopkeeper, while he was pasting posters of BSP leader Satish Sharma.
Getting the information, Mr Sharma along with his supporters reached Vinod's residence. Panic prevailed after Mr Sharma's bodyguard opened fire, in which one person was wounded.
The injured was rushed to hospital.
The situation, at present, was under control, police said.
A case was registered.
